      (India/Black) Margaret's Hope is probably the most well known Darjeeling garden worldwide. It is highly regarded for its wonderful flavor and great taste. The very high altitude of the tea garden makes for slower growing, more concentrated flavors.  This second flush tea is usually harvested from the end of May and throughout June.  Second flush teas have the most depth of character and maturity. 

      Desired by tea connoiseurs around the globe, this second flush FTGFOP1 tea is produced from rootstock that originated in China which accounts for some of its coloration in loose leaf.

      Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 tablespoon per 8 ounces
