Coffee arrived mid September 2013, packed in grainpro.
We are excited to offer this lovely coffee from El Salvador to you called Miraflores. The coffee is from a farm run by Oscar Enrique Figueroa, that is part of a private reserved named "El Limo" which helps to promote jobs for the community and to create some revenue to protect this reserve. Located in the Metapan-Alotepec Mountain Range the farm is surrounded by a natural forest and a river that creates gorgeous waterfalls throughout the perimeter. The farm sits at 4265 feet (1300 meters) above sea level and consists of clay loam soil that grows both Pacamara along with Bourbon varietals. The coffee cherries are harvested at specific recommendations of ripemess and comes from the smallest plot devoted to the Pacamara varietal. Once harvested the coffee is fully washed and dried on raised beds.
When this microlot was offered to us we purchased the very small output in its entirety. It will only be with us briefly.
